Extra-Curricular

We offer a wide range of extra curricular activities in all curriculum areas. There are regular sporting fixtures, art, music and drama performances, along with journalism club, revision club and board games.

 

As well as in-school opportunities there are trips with the Languages, Geography and History departments.

News from Extra-Curricular PE!

Boys Sports Fixtures/Training Information (Contact Mr Richards for details)

Students will get changed in our changing rooms straight after school.

It is compulsory that students bring with them the following: -

  • Rugby - GUM SHIELD and BOOTS/MOULDS/TRAINERS (correct footwear depending on the surface)
  • Football - SHIN PADS and BOOTS/MOULDS/TRAINERS (correct footwear depending on the surface)

The PE department will book a school bus to take students to and from the venue.

In most cases students may be picked up from the venue or from Marlwood School.

  • Festivals finish at approximately 17:45. If away, return to Marlwood at 18:15.
  • Matches finish at approximately 17:15. If away, return to Marlwood at 17:45.

The PE Teacher in charge will get students to text parents a more accurate time of arrival back to Marlwood School on the day.
